A Research on the Cultural Difference of Traditional Festivals in China and Britain

摘要

本研究旨在让人们树立正确的态度对待中英传统节日文化，重视本国的节日文化。通过中英传统节日文化映射出的文化差异的比较，可以帮助语言学习者充分认识西方各民族的历史与文化，克服文化差异，避免文化“冲突”现象的产生，在沟通过程中达到更有效的融合，为更好地开展国际交流提供方便。

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to establish a correct attitude towards Chinese and British festival culture. By comparing the differences of festival cultures between two countries, language learners can fully understand the history and culture of a country. At the same time, they can also overcome cultural differences and avoid the phenomenon of conflicts. As expected, the communication will be strengthened between China and Britain.
