A Cultural Comparison of Receiving Guests in China and America

摘要

随着全球一体化的进程，跨文化交际变得日趋频繁。中美在商务活动中接人待物也越来越频繁，难免在交往过程中会有一些误解。本文旨在透过中美在跨文化交际中接人待物的文化比较，揭示中美的文化共性、差异及原因，以此帮助人们更深入的理解中美文化差异，从而提高跨文化交际的能力。

Abstract   

With the global integration process, inter-cultural communication is popular in the world. Receiving guests in business activities between China and America is also frequently, it is inevitable to misunderstand in the communication process. This thesis aims to compare Chinese and American culture of receiving guests in inter-cultural communication, revealing the cultural similarities, differences and reasons, helping people understand the cultural differences between China and America, and improving inter-cultural communication skills.
