中美文化差异探讨对英语学习效果的影响_英语论文

A Primary Study of the Impact of Sino-US Culture on English Learning in China

摘要

本文旨在通过对比分析中美文化差异探讨对英语学习效果的影响。本文主要从语言和文化的角度,从社会核心价值观以及思维方式的差异及表现入手,分析得出文化差异对于影响学习英语有效性的重要性。研究发现,语言负载了各种文化淀积,学习语言要建立在学习文化的基础之上。了解中美文化差异的存在和内涵,帮助中国学生在日常学习交流中减少因文化差异存在而产生的语用失误表达,提高中国学生在跨文化背景下学习英语的过程中更加注重英语的实际交流运用能力。此外,本文分析归纳出学习英语有效性的一些建议和方法,为跨文化背景下学习英语者提供具体的指导,从而提高跨文化交际能力。

Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the influence of the learning effect by comparing and anglicizing cultural differences between China and America. It focuses on the aspects of language and culture, mainly in terms of the differences and performances of social core values and mode of thinking between China and America. Studies found that language contains all kinds of cultural deposit.  Knowing cultural differences is very important for students to improve their English learning effectiveness. It can help Chinese students reduce the expressions of pragmatic failure due to the cultural differences in everyday study and work by learning the differences and causes between Chinese and American culture. Chinese students can improve the ability of cross-cultural communication and pay more attention to actual exchange of English during the process of learning English under the cross-cultural background. In addition, this paper concludes some suggestions and methods of the effectiveness of learning English and provides specific guidance for English learners to improve cross-cultural communicative competence under the cross-cultural background.
