摘要

《麦田里的守望者》是塞林格最负盛名的一部作品。小说描摹了美国二战后科技和经济飞速发展的同时，人们却经历异化精神危机的图景。通过细读文本，从异化主题角度探析美国二战后异化的社会价值观和异化的教育制度。异化的人际关系主要体现在霍尔顿与家人、与老师、以及与同龄人之间冷漠的相处模式。主人公霍尔顿的自我异化则表现在他胆小怯懦、自我迷茫的精神状态。论文通过对小说中异化主题的解读，希望人们重视以霍尔顿为代表的当代年轻人的精神世界。

Abstract

The Catcher in the Rye is the most famous work by Salinger, which depicts that in America, science, technology and economy enjoyed rapid development, while people underwent the alienation and spiritual crisis in the years after the Second World War. Through close reading of the text, alienation of social values and education system in the United States after the Second World War is analyzed from the perspective of alienation theme. The indifferent relationships between the protagonist Holden and his family, his teachers, and peers exposed the alienated interpersonal relationships. The alienated self of protagonist Holden is revealed in the state of his cowardly and lost spirit. This thematic study of alienation is conducted in hope of reminding people to pay attention to the spiritual world of modern young people represented by Holden.
