生态翻译学视角下情景喜剧字幕翻译研究-以《老友记》为例_英语论文

Study on Subtitle Translation of the Situation Comedy from the Perspective of the Eco-translatology－A Case Study of Friends

摘要

生态翻译学这一全新的翻译理论是由清华大学翻译研究成果颇丰的胡庚申教授提出的。译者应该根据不同的翻译生态环境选择合适的翻译策略，从而实现最大限度的适应性和选择性。生态翻译学从翻译生态系统的整体性，对翻译活动的本质、过程、方法、评价标准等做出了新的阐释。该理论认为翻译的过程是译者适应和选择的过程，在这个过程中，译者应把握好语言维、文化维和交际维的三维转换，从一个大的生态环境出发，这样读者才可以获得更好的译文。

字幕翻译本身有其特点，所处生态环境特殊，其转换策略也有自身特点。本文从生态翻译学角度出发分析《老友记》字幕翻译中的语言、文化、交际维度的转换策略，以期给今后的字幕翻译提供借鉴和途径。

Abstract

The new translation theory of Eco-translatology was presented by Professor Hu Gengshen, a professor of translation studies at the Tsinghua University, which believes that the translator should choose the appropriate translation strategies according to the different ecological environment, for achieving the maximum adaptability and selectivity. Eco-translatology gives a new explanation of the essence, process, method and criteria of the translation activity. The theory thinks translation is a process of adaptation and selection, in this process, the translator should grasp the linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and the communicative dimension of 3D conversion, starting from a large ecological environment, so that the reader can get better translation. 

Subtitle translation has its own characteristics, and the eco-environment is special, whose conversion strategy also has its own characteristics. From the perspective of Eco-translatology, this thesis analyzes the translation strategies of the linguistic, culture and communication dimensions in the subtitle translation of Friends, in order to provide a reference for future subtitle translation.
