海峡两岸英文电影字幕汉译的对比研究-以《变形金刚》为例_英语论文

Contrastive Study on Cross-Strait E-C Subtitle Translation— Case Study of Transformers

摘要

在信息爆炸的当下，作为现代文化交流传播不可或缺的一部分,电影成为介绍异域文化最为直观高效的手段，其加强中外文化交流的效用不容小觑。近些年，大量外国电影进入我国大陆及台湾地区，作为电影的一个重要组成部分，电影字幕的翻译标准和翻译质量也随之备受关注。本文以电影《变形金刚》的大陆译本和台湾译本为研究对象，从两岸历史、经济、政治等不同角度比较分析两个译本的异同，并指出造成两岸英文电影字幕汉译差异的成因，以丰富影视翻译经验，促进两岸学术及深层文化的融合与交流。

Abstract

A large number of foreign films have been introduced into the Mainland of China and the Region of Taiwan in recent years, of which, the subtitle translation criteria and subtitle translation quality are attracting more and more attention in the field of translation. Taking two versions of Transformers as the objects of study, this thesis mainly analyzes the similarities and differences in subtitle translation between the Mainland and the Region of Taiwan from different perspectives, such as the history, economy and politics, etc., which may enrich the translation experience, and promote the cross-strait academic exchange and cultural integration at a deep level.
