目的论视角下美剧字幕的翻译策略研究-以《破产姐妹》为例_英语论文

On the Subtitle Translation Strategies for American TV Serials from the Perspective of Skopos Theory—A Case Study of Two Broke Girls 

摘要

今天，随着我国对外文化交流的日益频繁，越来越多的外国影视作品进入国内，很多人通过观看外国影视作品来学习外语，因此字幕翻译的优劣就变得尤为重要。

本文以德国功能目的论为理论指导，以《破产姐妹》中的部分精彩翻译为例，探讨影视剧字幕翻译的特点以及美剧字幕汉译的有效翻译策略，从而进一步揭示翻译理论和翻译策略对翻译活动的指导意义。

Abstract

More and more foreign films and TV programs have entered to China nowadays as a result of the frequent cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries. And many people are learning foreign languages by watching them, so the quality of subtitle translation is of great importance now.

Based on the Skopos Theory, and by means of case study, this thesis mainly makes the study on the features of subtitle translation and the effective translation strategies employed in E-C subtitle translation of American TV serials to reveal the instructive significance of translation theory and translation strategy in translation activity.
