摘要

《追风筝的人》是美籍阿富汗裔作家卡勒德·胡赛尼的第一部小说，也是第一部由阿富汗裔作家创作的以阿富汗为背景的英文小说。这部小说不仅见证了一个人的灵魂成长史，同时也展示了一个国家的悲惨史。这部小说从根本上获得了成功。本篇论文致力于通过分析主人公阿米尔的救赎之路来揭露人性的善与恶。本篇论文将着重于三点来分析阿米尔的救赎之路：是什么，为什么，怎么做。阿米尔的罪是什么？为什么阿米尔需要赎罪？阿米尔史如何赎罪的？最终得出人性的善与恶并不取决于每个人的人生追求。因为，人性终究是美好的。

Abstract

The Kite Runner is the first novel of Khaled Hosseini, an Afghan-American author who wrote his first novel with an Afghan background. This work not only demonstrates the growth history of a person's soul, but also shows a history of a suffering country. Ultimately, it gains a great success. This paper aims to reveal the ugly and beautiful human nature by analyzing the redemption of the main role, Amir. This paper will focus on the redemption of Amir and analyze the course of three points: what, why, and how. What refers to Amir’s sins? Why should Amir do the redemption? How does Amir finish his redemption? Eventually, it comes out that human nature does not depend on each person's own pursuit, because human nature is beautiful originally.
