简.奥斯汀是19世纪欧洲一名杰出的现实主义小说家。《傲慢与偏见》自1813年出版于世，多年来一直深受国内外读者的喜爱。这个故事的背景设置于19世纪的前十年。在那时，婚姻是女性为自己赢得认可与社会地位的唯一方式。故事是以达西与伊丽莎白的爱情为主线，描述了四歌关于婚姻的故事，分别是：达西与伊丽莎白，简和宾利，莉迪亚和威科姆，夏洛特与柯林斯。它揭露了在英国不同社会地位的人对婚姻的看法，并体现了作者本身对婚姻的看法。爱情与财富是一个理想婚姻的基石。只有金钱与社会地位的婚姻是错误的，但没有考虑到上诉因素的婚姻更也是愚蠢的。

Abstract

Jane Austin was one of the distinguished realistic novelist in the nineteenth century in Europe. Pride and Prejudice was written in 1813, and it is a world-wide popular novel. The story’s background was set in the first decade of the nineteen century. At that time, marriage was the only way for women to own recognition and social status. The novel sets the love of Darcy and Elizabeth as the main line, and describes four stories about marriage: Darcy and Elizabeth, Jane and Bingley, Lydia and Wickham, Charlotte and Collins. It reveals different views on marriage in British society, also embodies the author’s views on marriage. Love and money are the cornerstones of an ideal marriage. To marry only for money and social status is wrong, but the marriage that does not take into consideration the above factors is also stupid.
