摘要

不可否认的是,当探究认知与思维的关系时，“萨丕尔 - 沃尔夫假说”(也称“沃尔夫假说”)扮演了一个重要的角色。这一假说曾使人们对语言与思维之间关系的讨论达到高潮，继而又不断的被赋予了不同的诠释。随着语言学不断与其他学科相互交融借鉴，这一假说又给语言学研究带来的新的活力。认知语言学的研究课题之一 ----“概念化”将能从一个全新的视角再次阐明“沃尔夫假说”。以概念化为研究基础，能为人的认知过程提供一个更加直观的模型，从而延展我们对于语言和思维关系的认识。《降临》作为一部科幻题材电影，在严谨的遵循语言学基础知识的同时，鲜活地呈现了“萨丕尔 - 沃尔夫假说”， 且是研究沃尔夫假说的一个很好的个案。

本篇论文在已有的“沃尔夫假说”的基础上，结合“概念化”理论，以不同语言文化之间的异同作为案例,意在深入疏解“沃尔夫假说”内涵。这有助于进一步推进语言共性和个性的研究，与此同时,加深对“概念化”以及“沃尔夫假说”理论的理解,最终能有效地指导未来语言研究实践。
