韩素音《寂夏》中的婚姻观分析_英语论文

摘要

韩素音是现当代文坛知名的英籍华人女作家，著名翻译家。在二十世纪初曾积极奔赴于中国与西方之间交流活动。《寂夏》是韩素音自传系列作品的第三部，主要记叙了在1938年—1945年间，韩素音放弃布鲁塞尔大学的课业只身回到处于战乱时期的中国，希望为“救国”贡献出自己的一份力量。在这期间，她与第一任丈夫国民党军官唐保黄，有近十年的痛苦婚姻。这段婚姻在某种程度扭曲了她的婚姻观，然而却成就了她的两部文学作品《寂夏》和《目的地：重庆》。

本论文分为三章，绪论主要介绍了韩素音及其文学地位，以及韩素音一生中的四段感情经历。第一章通过对国内外作家对韩素音作品的研究现状和论文运用研究理论的叙写，引出该论文的研究方向，并进行主要内容回顾。第二章分别从外界的社会和政治环境与主人公自身两个角度重点分析了这段婚姻的破裂原因。第三章基于女性主义文学批评理论以《目的地：重庆》一书为载体总结得出韩素音的婚姻观。

最后的结论是对全文观点的梳理和总结，本文从韩素音在《寂夏》中记述的婚姻历程分析得出她对婚姻的观点，希望对当下青年建立正确的婚姻观有借鉴意义。

Abstract

Han Suyin is a well-known British-Chinese female writer and translator in contemporary literary circles. In the early 20th century, she actively engaged in the communication between China and the West. Birdless Summer is the third volume of the autobiography of Han Suyin. Which mainly narrated Han gave up her study in Brussel University to return to China alone in the year of 1938 to1945, she would like to contribute her own strength to “save nation”. During this period, she got married with the first husband Tang Paohuang who was an officer of Kuomindang. And this marriage distorted her marriage view in some ways but made her written out two great works Birdless Summer and Destination Chungking.

This paper is divided into three chapters, the first part introduces Han Suyin and her literary status, including the four love experiences through the life. The first chapter states some research actualities about author in the past time and the research theory this paper used to draws out the research direction of the paper. In addition, reviews the content of literature. The second chapter respectively analyzes the causes of the broken marriage from two perspectives—social environment and the characters themselves. The thrid chapter is based on the theory of feminist literary criticism by the book Destination ChungKing to sum up the marriage view of Han Suyin.

The final part is the conclusion of the views in full text, this paper try to summarize Han Suyin’s marriage view from their marriage process written in the book Birdless Summer. And we hope that it will help young people to establish reasonable view of marriage.
