中英商务礼仪禁忌的比较研究_英语论文
A Comparative Study of Business Etiquette Taboos between China and Britain
摘要
进入21世纪以后,人们大步走向了经济全球化,信息网络化和交流无国界化的新时代。随着世界各国对外贸易政策日趋开放,现代交通工具快速发展,现代新型信息交流媒介电脑和通讯媒介手机等在迅猛发展,各国人民在现实生活和网络生活中的接触和交流也日趋频繁。不同地域的人们交流就是不同文化从碰撞到融和的过程。中国同各国商务交往也越来越频繁,但由于文化、习俗等方面的不同,随之也出现了一些新的问题,比如,不同国家之间的人在跨文化交往中出现了一些障碍。中国人和英国人之间也是如此。在这种形势之下,商务礼仪显得尤其重要,在商务交际中,得体的商务礼仪不仅可以帮助塑造良好的个人形象,而且可强化企业的道德要求,树立企业遵纪守法,遵守社会公德的良好形象。然而,在商务交往中,了解对方的礼仪禁忌并尊重它无疑更有利于促进两方的合作。了解研究中英两国的商务礼仪禁忌,不仅能够在商务交流中避免不必要的误会,而且更有利于两国在今后的贸易交往中有更好的发展。本文在国内外提出的相关资料和研究成果的基础上,着重比较研究中英两国商务礼仪禁忌的异同。扫清两国在商务交流中的礼仪障碍,从而使两国在日后能有更好的商务交流与商务合作。
本文主要分为五个部分,第一部分介绍国内外关于本课题的研究成果;第二部分是对禁忌及商务礼仪做简单介绍;第三部分是重点阐述中英两国商务礼仪禁忌的异同;第四部分是分析造成差异的原因;第五部分是提出对待商务礼仪禁忌的正确方法。

Abstract
After entering the 21st century, people have made great strides towards the era of economic globalization, information networking and non-nationalization. With the fast development of the "soft power" and the modern communication media, contact and communication are becoming more and more frequent in real life and virtual life. The communication among people from different regions is the process of different cultures from colliding to integrating. China also has more and more frequent business contact with other countries. However, due to the differences in cultures, some new problems have arisen; for example, people from different countries have some obstacles in intercultural communication. The same is true between Chinese people and Englishmen. In this situation, business etiquette has become especially important in business communication; decent business etiquette can not only help create a good personal image, but also strengthen the moral requirements of enterprises and establish a law-abiding business. However, in business contact, understanding partner’s business etiquette taboos and respecting them are undoubtedly more conducive to promoting cooperation between the two sides. Understanding and studying Chinese and British business etiquette taboos, not only can avoid unnecessary misunderstanding in business exchanges, but also can be more conducive to the two countries in the future trade exchanges. On the basis of relevant data and research results at home and abroad, this paper focuses on the similarities and differences between Chinese and British business etiquette taboos. Clearing the etiquette barriers of two countries in business exchanges, so that the two countries can achieve better business exchange and business cooperation in the future.
This thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces domestic and foreign research results on the subject. The second chapter is a brief introduction to the taboos and business etiquette. The third part focuses on the similarities and differences of business etiquette taboos between China and Britain. The fourth part is to analyze the causes of the differences. The fifth part is to propose the correct ways to treat business etiquette taboos.
