摘要

《蝇王》是英国著名作家、诺贝尔文学奖获得者威廉·戈尔丁的代表作, 也是第二次世界大战后世界文坛上颇有份量的一部长篇小说。近年来，学术界研究的方向多偏中于这部小说的象征和人性两方面，而对女性缺席现象研究较少。本文试图从女性主义的视角出发，结合荒岛小说的特征，对《蝇王》中女性缺失现象的成因进行探索，进一步阐释女性缺席的意义，突出女性在场的重要性和必要性，强调女性的存在是构建完整、和谐的社会的必要条件之一。
