摘要

在全球化日益推进的今天，中国地域民俗文化作为中华文化浓墨重彩的一笔，已成为我国文化对外输出的重要分支。小说《边城》就是中国民俗文化代表著作之一，书中大量的湘西民俗文化描写对于译者而言极具挑战。本文从文化翻译观视角分析小说《边城》金介甫版英译本中的文化构建现象，探索译者在翻译过程中如何运用翻译策略和翻译方法在译本中尽力构建原语小说的文化氛围，希望借此课题为中国地域民俗文化的英译提供一些有益的思路和学术参考。
