摘要

德伯家的苔丝被认为是托马斯.哈代最著名的作品之一。它是一部性格与环境小说，描述了女主人公苔丝短暂而又悲惨地一生。这篇论文从五个方面分析了小说中的圣经原型。它们分别是圣经思想，原型人物，原型场景，圣经意象和圣经语言。这篇文章意在提高读者对小说中人物形象，叙事已经意象的分析理解，从而给予以后研究这篇小说的人们以帮助。

Abstract 

Tess of the D’Urbervilles is considered to be one of the great works of Thomas Hardy. It is the novel of character and environment, which describes the short and miserable life of the heroine-Tess. This essay analyzed Biblical Archetypes in Tess of the D’Urbervilles from five aspects- biblical ideas, prototype characters, prototype scene, biblical image and biblical language. The aim of the essay is to enrich the understanding of characters, scenes narrative, and also images in the novel, and provide some help for people to study the novel in the future.
