英语绘本对小学三年级学生阅读效果的影响_英语论文
Effects of English Picture Books on Reading Efficiency among Grade Three Primary School Pupils
摘要
一切语言学习都要基于大量的语言输入。语言学习者能从阅读中获得大量的语言输入。作为的关键能力之一,阅读同样也是语言教学的重要环节。近二十年来,英语阅读教学得到的关注度越来越高。但是,由于传统阅读教学模式和阅读材料的限制,小学英语阅读教学,尤其是低段阅读教学,仍然面临着诸多问题,。
很多语言学者认为绘本有助于提高英语阅读效果。现在,绘本也被广泛使用于语言教学。
本文研究了英语绘本对小学三年级学生阅读效果的影响。研究选取了三年级的两个基础相似的班级作为实验对象。实验组的教学材料为英语绘本,对照组的教学材料为从绘本中提取出的文字。实验结束后,研究者对数据进行了收集与分析。实验结果表明,英语绘本能够提高小学三年级学生阅读效果,不同的绘本对学生阅读效果提高的程度不同。

Abstract
Learning all foreign languages needs the large quantity of input. Reading is an effective way to achieve this. And as an essential ability of language learning, reading also plays a vital role in language teaching. The recent two decades have witness the increasingly attention paid to English reading teaching. However, English reading teaching in primary school is facing some predicaments due to the conventional mode of reading teaching and limited reading teaching materials especially for lower grades.
Picture books are widely used in language teaching nowadays for many language scholars have verified that picture books contributes to improving students’ reading efficiency.
The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of English picture book on reading efficiency among grade three primary pupils. Two classes that are of similar level in grade three are selected as subjects for experiment, one as the experimental class and the other as the control class. The teaching material for experimental class is English picture book. And the teaching material for control class is the texts extracted from English picture book. All the statistics are collected and analyzed after the test. The results of the research prove that English picture books have a positive effect on improving students’ reading efficiency among grade three primary pupils and that different kinds of English picture books have different effects on improving students’ reading efficiency.
