石黑一雄是英国当代文坛上最著名的小说家之一，作为一名日裔英国小说家，漂泊的移民身份对其小说创作有着深刻的影响。小说《别让我走》塑造了一群人类身份以外的克隆人，他们存在的价值在于捐献器官、延长人类寿命，在人类社会中始终处于边缘化的地位。他们是文化精神上的身份飘零者，把人类孤独无助的生存状态表现得淋漓尽致。

本文将以身份追寻为切入点，从主人公凯茜出发，围绕身份焦虑、身份建构以及身份幻灭三个方面，分析小说《别让我走》中克隆人的文化身份追寻过程。从文化身份飘零带来的创伤性悲剧中，引发现代人对于身份问题的关注和思考。在身份建构视角下，结合小说情节、人物塑造，对小说《别让我走》进行赏析，进一步探索克隆人身份追寻的主题，从而对人类生存状况进行反思。
