《破产姐妹》字幕翻译的归化研究_英语论文

On Subtitle Translation of 2 Broke Girls From the Perspective of Domestication 

摘要

翻译理论的研究必不可少地要涉及不同的翻译标准。我们对翻译标准的认识，归根到底是对翻译本质的认识问题，是对翻译的定义、性质、策略等方面进行分析与探讨。不同的视角、教育背景以及文化体系必然要运用不同的翻译方式。而字幕翻译作为翻译的一个重要内容，随着国外优秀影视作品的流入愈发吸人眼球。  

本文以《破产姐妹》为案例，从“归化”角度出发，对字幕翻译进行探析，从而分析网络流行语在英译汉字幕翻译中消除文化差异、拉近观众与源语言文化之间距离的作用。

Abstract

When it comes to the theory of translation, it is inevitably to talk about the standards of translation. What we know about the standards of translation is actually that about the essence of translation: what is translation, what strategies it has and how we apply these strategies to specific translation situation. Different perspectives, educational backgrounds and cultural systems must lead to different strategies. As an important aspect of translation, subtitle translation attracts more and more attention with the flowing of excellent foreign videos.

This article tries to analyze how the strategies of subtitle translation used in 2 Broke Girls reduce and eliminate the gap of the culture differences from the perspective of domestication and Chinese network buzzwords and make it closer between audience and producers.
