《霍乱时期的爱情》于1985出版,是哥伦比亚作家加西亚•马尔克斯获得诺贝尔文学奖之后创作的第一部小说，讲述了一段跨越半个多世纪的爱情史诗。本文旨在从二元对立的角度挖掘和探讨小说的主题。文章着重分析了贵族与平民、灵与肉、生与死三组对立主题，并研究了所建构起来的这三组二元对立主题消解的过程。最后得出结论：这些二元对立主题贯穿于全文，并在不断冲突的过程中走向统一。通过从二元对立视角研究该小说的主题，为这部伟大的作品提供新的鉴赏角度。
