摘要
本文具体分析Leech和顾曰国的礼貌原则在商务谈判中的应用。通过对比分析两种礼貌原则,指出在称呼准则,贬己与谦虚准则,德行准则上中西方礼貌原则的差异,针对这些差异,就中西方商务谈判中如何更好地应用礼貌原则提出可行性建议: 尽可能地去了解谈判对手,尽可能求同存异。希望通过本文的研究,能够为谈判人员进行有效的商务英语谈判提供帮助和建议,并为商务英语学习者的实践提供参考。

Abstract
This thesis analyzes the application of the Politeness Principles of Leech and Gu Yueguo in business negotiations. By comparing the differences between the two Politeness Principles in Address Maxim, Self-denigration & Modesty Maxim and Virtue Maxim, this thesis puts forward some feasible advice on the better application of Politeness Principles in business negotiations: to know as much as possible about your counterparts, and to reserve the differences. It is hoped that this thesis can help the negotiators to make effective business English negotiations, and provide reference for the practice of business English learners.
