摘要

生态翻译学理论为研究字幕翻译提供了一个新的视角。该理论强调译者的主体性，侧重“三维”间的转换，即语言维、文化维和交际维的适应性选择转换，并认为“整合适应选择度”越高，译文越佳。本文从生态翻译学视角出发，对影片《我是山姆》的字幕翻译进行个案分析，运用具体英汉对照实例，细致剖析和论证译者“语言维”、“交际维”和“文化维”三方面所做出的适应性选择。在指出在翻译研究中，译者应努力适应翻译生态环境，坚持“多维度适应与适应性选择”，以获得高质量的字幕翻译。

Abstract

Eco-translatology provides a new perspective for the study of subtitle translation, which emphasizes the translator’s subjectivity and focuses on the adaptive transformation between “three dimension”—the adaptive transformation of language dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension. The higher “integrated adaptive selection” is, the better translation will be. This thesis makes an exploration on the subtitle translation of the film I am Sam from the perspective of Eco-translatology, analyzing the translator’s adaptive selection from three dimensions after careful studies on some typical E-C subtitle translation examples in the film. It is pointed out that in the process of translation, the translator should try to adapt to the translation eco-environment and adhere to the “multi-dimensional adaptation and adaptability” so that a high quality subtitle translation may be achieved.
