摘要

《比利林恩的中场战事》讲述了19岁的德州士兵比利·林恩加入美军步兵部队后，被派往伊拉克战场，在一次交火中他大难不死，意外与战友成为大众的关注焦点，被召回美国参加巡回宣传。最后重回战场，其中经历了复杂波折的心理转变过程，他对人生和命运也产生了很多终极思考。多数人倾向于从当代政治局势或者哲学的角度剖析这部作品，却忽视了现代媒体对比利林恩产生的巨大影响。

让·鲍德里亚提出了一个称为拟像和仿真理论。鲍德里亚声称,仿真是当前阶段的幻影:所有引用没有指示物,是一个超真实的世界。我相信这个理论是比利林恩事件最终失去媒体热度的主要原因。

Abstract

Billy Lynn’s Halftime Walk tells the story of the 19-year-old Texas after joining American infantry soldier Billy Lynn, was sent to Iraq, he survived in a firefight, accident and become the focus of concern of the public in arms, recalled to the United States to participate in the tour. Finally, he returned to the battlefield, where he underwent a complicated psychological transformation, and his thoughts on life and destiny were also made. Most people tend to dissect this work from a contemporary political situation or philosophy, but ignore the huge impact of modern media on Billy Lynn.

Jean Baudrillard had presented a theory called simulacra and simulation.Simulation, Baudrillard claims, is the current stage of the simulacrum: all is composed of references with no referents, a hyperreality. And I believe the theory is the main reason that why Billy Lynn lost the heat press finally.
