摘要
在传统翻译研究中,译者一直被认为是次于文本和作者的角色,因而未能得到充分的研究。20世纪70 年代,西方翻译理论界出现了文化转向,这直接促成了人们的研究方向从原语转到译入语,从语言转到文化。这时,人们对翻译过程有了新的认知,它不单单是一个译者转换语言的简单过程,更是一个译者在一定空间内发挥创造性的复杂过程。于是,译者的主体地位得到了本应有的重视,译者也经历了从默默无闻到为人知晓的漫长过程。
本文以《麦田里的守望者》的两个译本为例,概述了译者主体性的内涵,从译者对原文本的理解和表达两方面看两个译本中的译者主体性。希望通过本文的阐述,推动人们对译者的关注,深化人们对翻译本质的认知,以及进一步提高译者的积极性。
