摘要

随着全球化进程加快和社会流动性的不断增强，华裔移民数量与日俱增，作用日益显著，受到了广泛关注。在素有“文化熔炉”之称的美国生活，各种文化冲突在所难免，因此，华裔移民的跨文化适应问题显得尤为重要。

美剧《初来乍到》则讲述了一个中国家庭移民到奥兰多后不断面临的文化冲突并最终达到跨文化适应的故事。此剧改编自华裔移民的真实经历，具有一定的典型性与真实性,具有一定的研究价值。因此本文在综合前人研究的基础上,运用奥伯格（Oberg）四阶段模式理论，分析文化适应四阶段,及适应过程中文化冲突的表现及成因，以期帮助华裔移民找到解决问题的对策，顺利实现跨文化适应。本课题为跨文化适应研究提供了新的思路，一定程度上对跨文化交际起到积极作用。
