摘要
肢体语言在小学英语教学中起着不可替代的作用,用肢体语言来辅助教师进行英语教学是小学英语课堂中师生交流的重要方式之一。教师灵活、合理、恰到好处地运用肢体语言,不仅能帮助学生理解,提高教学效率,而且容易激发学生的学习兴趣,贯穿课堂教学,促进师生交流。本文将通过肢体语言在小学英语教育中的应用来研究肢体语言对小学英语教育的重要性及意义。

Abstract
Language acquisition theory holds that body language plays an indispensable role in primary school English teaching. Teachers therefore should adopt this approach as an integral part of classroom instruction. A rational but flexible use of body languages may improve teaching efficiency and inspire student learning throughout the teaching process and teacher-student communication. This thesis explores the significance of body language in English education and conducts case study of the application of body language to English education in the primary school.
