生态翻译学视角下电影《美国队长3》的字幕翻译_英语论文

A Brief Analysis on the Subtitle Translation of the Film Captain America：Civil War from the Perspective of Eco-translatology

摘要

近年来，中西方交流日趋频繁，作为一种快餐文化，西方国家的很多电影深受中国观众喜爱。优秀的电影不仅能够娱乐身心，同时也能让中国的观众更好地了解外国文化，甚至还能成为中国学生学习英语的快捷途径。《美国队长3》是一部由美国漫威影业公司出品的科幻动作电影，于2016年5月6日在中国上映，首周票房就高达6.25亿人民币。但是由于该电影的对白语言是英语，大部分中国观众只能通过字幕翻译来欣赏这部电影，由此可知字幕翻译的重要性。清华大学的胡庚申教授提出了一种新的理论——生态翻译学理论,该理论指出:在翻译的过程中,译者应该对翻译生态环境做出适应与选择，同时也要把握好语言维、文化维和交际维的三维转换。本文将从生态翻译学角度入手，分析美国电影《美国队长3》的字幕翻译成功之处，重点从语言维、文化维及交际维三个方面探究该电影字幕翻译过程中的适应性选择与转换,以期对生态翻译学在电影字幕翻译方面的应用做一点探索，给今后的字幕翻译工作者提供借鉴。

Abstract

In recent years, exchanges between China and the West have become increasingly frequent. As a kind of fast-food culture, many films made by Western countries appeal to the Chinese audience. Some excellent films can not only entertain people, but also allow them to better understand the foreign culture. Besides, it’s a shortcut for the Chinese students to learn English. Captain America：Civil War, a science fiction film produced by Marvel Studios, was first released in China on May 6th, 2016. Its box office of the first week aggregated 625 million RMB. However, the language used in the film is English, which leads to the result that most Chinese audience have to rely on the translated subtitles to appreciate the film. Therefore, subtitles translation is very important. Hu Gengshen, a professor in Tsinghua University, raised a new theory--- Eco-translatology, in which selection and adaptation to the translational eco-environment was highlighted. When translating, the translator should pay much attention to linguistic, cultural and communicative dimension. The thesis tries to analyze the highlights of subtitle translation of the film Captain America: Civil War from the view of Eco-translatology, centering around the adaptation and selection from three dimensions--- linguistic, cultural and communicative dimension, in order to explore the application of Eco-translatology in subtitle translation and offer some references to the subtitle translators ahead.
