A Study on the Chinese Immigration to the United States since Reform and Opening up from the Perspective of Sino-US Cultural Differences

摘要

不同的历史时期，有着不同的移民目的。美国凭借其独特的魅力吸引了成千上万来自世界各地的人。中国成为美国最大移民来源国，同时美国是中国移民的首选地。

民族歧视从一定角度也反映了美国政府对中国移民的态度，甚至对华移民的政策。中美文化的差异性使得中美双方在文化相互交流与融合的过程中对华人融入美国社会产生了影响。本文通过讲述华人移民美国的原因，方式和具体的表现形式，阐述了中国人移民美国的现状。通过介绍中美文化的糟粕，让我们获得了良好的启示。

Abstract

In different historical periods people have different immigration goals. The United States has attracted thousands of people from all over the world with its unique charm. China has become the largest source of immigrants in the United States, while the United States is the first choice for Chinese immigrants. 

Ethnic discrimination also reflects the attitude of the US government to Chinese immigrants from a certain point of view, and even the policy of immigrants to China. The differences between Chinese and American cultures have made an impact on the Chinese integration into the American society in the process of cultural exchange and integration. This paper expounds the status quo of Chinese immigrants to the United States by telling the reason, the way and the concrete manifestation of Chinese immigrants to the United States. Through the introduction of the dross of Chinese and American culture, we can get a good inspiration.
