摘要

本篇文章运用语义翻译理论，研究了英语CALL一词在一般语言情境与商务语言语境中的语义关系，以及英语单词CALL意义变化的过程和这种转化的结果。提出了英语单词CALL在商务英语文本语境中语义与普通文本不同，包括证券行业中的术语对等原则，航运行业中的语义转换原则和银行业务中的词汇转换原则。文章通过对CALL这个英语单词原义和语义的分类研究，得出结论：在语义翻译实践过程中，译者需要根据源语言联系上下文的语境来确定语义。
