从食物意象解析《喜福会》里的中国传统文化内涵_英语论文

摘要
谭恩美是一位在西方社会具有一定影响力的华裔女作家,其代表作有《喜福会》、《灶神之妻》等,一度在美国文坛颇受欢迎。在《喜福会》中,谭恩美涉及了许多中国元素,像中国的饮食文化、五行、神话故事、民间传说等,方方面面地展现了中国传统文化。
食物这一意象慢慢进入人们的视野,在谭恩美的小说中到处可见对食物详细的描写,而食物描写也被作者赋予了深刻的文化内涵。本课题从饮食人类学的角度出发,通过解析小说《喜福会》中的食物意象,探索其代表的中国传统文化内涵,体现食物在传统文化中的的重要价值,促进中国饮食对传统文化的发展。同时,与现代快节奏生活相结合,发现当代问题并提出一些建议。

Abstract
Amy Tan is a popular Chinese writer who has a certain influence on Western society, with many representative works, including Joy Luck Club, Kitchen God's Wife and so on. In the Joy Luck Club, there are many Chinese elements mentioned by Amy Tan, such as Chinese food culture, five elements, fairy tales, folklore, etc., showing the traditional Chinese culture from every aspect.
With food images slowly coming into the people's vision, the description of food can be seen everywhere in her novels. On the contrary, it is also given a profound cultural connotation by Amy Tan. From the perspective of diet anthropology, this essay is aimed to explore the connotation of Chinese traditional culture in The Joy Luck Club to show the importance of cuisine in traditional culture and promote the development of food and culture through the analysis of food images. At the same time, the essay will also help us put forward some suggestions to solve some problems in the modern fast pace of life.
