摘要

伊恩·麦克尤恩是英国当代文坛著名作家，他的小说集《最初的爱情，最后的仪式》由八个短篇构成，分别从八个男性视角出发。本文以女性主义视角分析了该小说集所体现的两性关系的异化现象，通过对夫妻、兄妹等角度进行研究，指出了有些人通过异性来加强自己地位，而有些人通过转化为异性来确定自己身份。二战后英国社会的政治、文化变化不是使得两性关系异化的唯一原因。女性不断提升的经济地位以及女性意识也是原因之一。作者在不断探索现代社会两性世界过程中也叙述了不少个人生活经历。总之，两性关系异化正是二战后经济、文化的发展、女性地位提升、女性意识崛起以及作者个人经历的结果。
