摘要

文化身份的构建一直是复杂的过程，尤其是在欧美主导的文化霸权的全球语境下，如何维护民族特性和身份尤为重要。小说《拉合尔茶馆的陌生人》主要讲述了一个名叫昌盖兹的巴基斯坦青年怀揣“美国梦”来到美国，但最终他的梦想却因为美国遭到穆斯林的恐怖袭击而不得不被放弃的经历。本文以后殖民主义为理论基础，分析主人公是如何在东西方的文化冲突下，完成身份的重构，恢复本族裔身份。为我们打破西方文化霸权，坚定本族文化身份认同提供借鉴经验。
