摘要

随着跨文化交流的日益广泛和深入，从《老友记》到《生活大爆炸》，越来越多的美剧被引入中国市场，因此美剧的英汉字幕翻译也越来越显示出其重要性。与西方相比，中国对字幕翻译的研究起步较晚。此外，大多数的美剧字幕翻译人员素质参差不齐，缺乏专业的培训。

本文从翻译目的论的三原则出发，以美剧《瑞克和莫蒂》为例，分析《瑞克和莫蒂》中的字幕翻译技巧，提出对英汉字幕翻译的建议。首先，字幕翻译不应拘泥于逐字逐句的翻译，而应根据受众的接受程度和电视剧编剧本身想要传达的意义，采用不同的翻译策略。其次，字幕翻译人员在字幕翻译中应多使用注释。第三，译者应将具有隐含意义的源文本翻译成目标文本中的俗语，使剧集接受度更高。
