A Study on Translation of The Wind in the Willows from the Perspective of Nida's Functional Equivalence Theory_英语论文
摘要
儿童文学不同于一般文学作品,这是专为儿童青少年创作的文学作品。现今,越来越多的青少年儿童能接触到国外儿童文学作品。在这一过程中,翻译起到必不可少的作用。为使得外国儿童文学更具有可读性,我们需要继续提高此类文学作品的翻译质量。但由于儿童文学的受众是儿童,翻译时应该充分考虑到儿童的阅读特点。
本文将对经典儿童文学译本进行分析,探讨奈达功能对等理论在翻译实践中产生的效果,以此为其他文学译者提供参考,帮助儿童文学翻译者译出好的作品。论文将以英国作家肯尼斯·格雷厄姆的《柳林风声》及杨静远译本为研究对象,从奈达功能对等理论视角进行研究,探讨译文是否实现译文读者读译文和原文读者读原文的感受一致。

Abstract
Different from other literatures, Children’s literature is written for children and teenagers. Nowadays, more and more children and teenagers are exposed to foreign literature. Translation plays a significant role in this procedure. To get foreign children’s novel much more accessible, we need to improve this kind of translation. The most important is that we have to think highly of the reading custom of children who are the main readers of this kind of literature.
By analyzing the translation of classic children’s book and the effect of Nida’s functional equivalence theory in translating for children, this paper will be instructive to the translators of children’s literature. Based on Nida’s functional equivalence theory, this paper makes a study on translation of The Wind in the Willows, Yang Jingyuan’s version, hoping to explore whether translator’s choices are accordant to Nida’s functional equivalence theory.
