本文运用语用学中的语境理论,对英语AGAINST一词在商务英语文本中的语用意义进行了研究。 提出了AGAINST一词除了日常文本及口语中的常见义外,还有在商务英语中商法、保险、金融等方面特定语境下的多种含义。本文将商务英语中各种语境下使用AGAINST例句进行对比分析,并结合前人的研究,得出结论:AGAINST一词在商务英语文本中与日常文本的意思不尽相同,需要结合所在文本的语境加以辨析。
