摘要

目前，女性主义观仍是个热门的话题。女性主义旨在为女性主义运动提供理论指导，包括两性应有的权利与义务。在很长的历史中，女性没有话语权，历史听不到女性的声音。女性没有得到和男性相同的应有的权利，女性无法为自己发声。在父权社会中，男尊女卑的现象普遍存在，女性是依附于男性的。随着民主和社会经济的发展，越来越多的女性走出社会工作，相应的权利，如教育权、婚姻权等得到日益的保障。但是女性主义的发展仍任重而道远，性歧视的现象仍普遍存在。弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫是20世纪女性主义的先锋。直到今天，弗吉尼亚的女性主义思想对女性主义运动仍有很大的借鉴意义。在伍尔夫的散文随笔中，我们可以看到伍尔夫对女性主义、性理论和美学的看法。《一间自己的房间》是伍尔夫最著名和有价值的代表作品之一。她在《一间自己的房间》中论述了女性的现状，提出女性需要有一间属于自己的房间和一定的物质基础，即女性要实现自身的经济独立以及拥有自己独立思考的空间，从精神和物质两个方面实现独立和自由。伍尔夫倡导的不是两性冲突，而是两性应该和谐统一，和平共处。本文通过分析《一间自己的房间》，研究伍尔夫的女性主义思想，为女性主义的发展提供更深入的思考。

Abstract

Female consciousness is a hot topic nowadays. Female consciousness aims to provide a sense of right and obligations for the movement of feminist. In the long history, women do not have equal rights as men and they can not speak for their own. In the patriarchy society, women are inferior to men. Fortunately, with the development of democracy and economic, more and more women work outsides and have the rights on education, marriage and so on. However, there is a long way to realize gender equality for the reason that sex discrimination still can be seen everywhere. Virginia Woolf who contributes a lot to feminism is a pioneer of feminism in the 20th century. Until today, Woolf still offers significance for the development of modern feminism. Throughout her nonfiction, female consciousness, theory of sex and aesthetics can be seen. A Room of One’s Own is her most famous and valuable work. In this book, she analyzes the situations of women and puts forward that a woman should have a room of her own and possess 500 pounds to achieve material and mental independence. Woolf emphasizes that a woman should not only realize economic independence, but also have her own space to think things out of herself. Instead of advocating conflicts between two sexes, what Woolf supports is cooperation and harmony. This thesis aims to analyze ideas on female consciousness according to her work A Room of One’s Own. By analyzing Woolf’s opinions on female consciousness, it can give us further insight into the development of feminism.
