摘要

《傲慢与偏见》和《劝导》是简·奥斯汀的两部名作。许多国内外学者都对这两部作品所蕴含的婚姻观进行了研究。本文试图将《傲慢与偏见》和《劝导》进行对比，从爱情与经济基础在婚姻中的地位和女性在婚姻中的地位这两方面研究简·奥斯汀婚姻观的发展，并从社会、文学和个人经历三方面分析简·奥斯汀婚姻观进步的原因。研究发现：随着社会的不断发展，奥斯汀的婚姻观也发生了巨大改变，与《傲慢与偏见》相比，《劝导》中所体现的婚姻观更具有进步性。在《傲慢与偏见》中，作者认为对于婚姻而言，真爱与财产同等重要，女性在婚姻中依附于男性。而在《劝导》中，作者则认为真爱比财产更为重要，真爱才是幸福婚姻的决定性因素, 女性在婚姻中与男性具有同等地位。
