本选题属于外国文学研究范畴，是关涉叙事动力分析与文学原型分析的研究课题。本文以叙事动力为研究方向，旨在通过叙事动力研究揭示海斯特白兰矛盾的必然性，深化人们对《红字》中海斯特白兰的认知，并从中分析造成其行为思想性格矛盾的种种原因。从而进一步的探讨作者本人的真实意图，更深层次挖掘小说的艺术特色和主题意蕴。

Abstract

This topic belongs to the category of foreign literature research, related to narrative dynamics analysis and literary archetypal analysis. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the inevitability of the  contradictoriness in Hester Prynne in the Scarlet letter and deepen people's cognition of her behavior, ideology and personality through the study of narrative dynamics. Meanwhile further explore author’s real intention, deeper excavate the artistic characteristics and thematic implications of the novel.
