摘要 

随着中国国际地位的不断提升和中国政治、经济的快速持续发展，特别是中国关于实施“文化走出去”的国际战略，同中国及中国人民进行文化交流的国家和国际组织越来越多，到中国经商、旅游、学习的外国人与日俱增。公示语不仅为公众提供信息服务，也是外国人了解中国发展的一种重要途径，已经得到了空前的重视，公示语翻译研究成果也非常丰富。

公示语的分布与用途都十分广泛，对于公式语的分类，根据公示语的语言特点，可以将公示语分成：指示性公示语（Directive Signs）、提示性公示语（Informatory Signs）、警示性公示语（Cautionary Signs）、限制性公示语（Restrictive Signs）、强制性公示语（Mandatory Signs）。而根据公式语的交际内容，则可分为信息告知型(Information Notice)与行为禁止型公式语(Behavior Prohibition)。

在公示语翻译工作中，也存在相当多的问题。例如公示语的普及程度低；翻译错误率高；公示语翻译不够规范，拼写错误多。本文研究并分析了出现上述问题的原因以及解决相关问题的对策。

本文结合对公示语分类、翻译存在问题和翻译策略进行探究，最后探讨了公示语翻译对翻译研究及外语教育的启示。
