摘要

作为一门极具潜力的新兴学科，生态语言学正在为语言研究者所重视，其生态视野值得成为语言研究者的研究指导方向,即研究者应用生态的眼光去看待多方面的研究。本文着眼于语境变量理论的研究，尝试将语境的生态多元性与语境变量理论相结合，通过选取以生态环保为主题的新闻报道、议论文与演讲各十篇为例，在生态语言学的视角下运用Dell Hathaway Hymes的SPEAKING语境变量理论进行文本分析，旨在证实这一语境变量理论是否具备适用性，并且以生态语境观为指导思想，顺应语境理论研究的多元化、动态化发展趋势，试图从语言与环境的关系层面，对这一语境变量理论进行进一步的分类，以验证其是否能够体现生态语境观的生态性思想。该研究结果验证了SPEAKING语境变量理论的适用性，亦体现了生态语境观的思想，从一定程度上为生态语境研究提供了启示。

Abstract

As a new and promising discipline, ecolinguistics is becoming more and more valued by researchers. Therefore, its ecological vision is worthy of becoming the research guidance of these researchers, which means that they should do researches with ecological perspectives. Mainly focusing on the study of context variables theory, this thesis attempts to combine it with diversity, one of the context’s characteristics. Thus, this thesis selects thirty articles with the topic of eco-environmental protection, and with three genres including news reports, argumentative essays and speeches as examples. By having text analyses with the context variables theory put forward by Dell Hathaway Hymes from the perspective of ecolinguistics, the thesis hopes to find out whether this context variables theory can be applicable. Also, by adopting the eco-context view as its guiding ideology, this research is conforming to the tendency of the dynamic and diverse research of the context theories. As a result, this thesis is also trying to have a further classification of Hymes’s context variables theory from the relationship between language and environment, and to verify whether it can reflect the eco-context view’s ecological idea. The final results of the research have verified the applicability of the SPEAKING model as well as the ideas of eco-context view. To some extent, this thesis has provided some inspirations for researches about the eco-context.
