An Analysis of Interdiscursivity in Course Introductions of Remedial Class: A Case Study of Xueersi_英语论文

摘要

补习班的课程介绍包括课程信息、教师信息和所用的教学方法等等。随着商业活动的扩展，广告话语逐渐渗透进补习班的课程介绍中。补习班的课程介绍由此展现出广告话语的特点。本文选取了学而思——中国知名补习班——的一些课程介绍作为语料，运用批评话语分析理论和韩礼德的功能语法，分析了语料在相关的社会背景下的语言特点。本文旨在挖掘语料中隐含的权力和意识形态，以及寻找权力如何从话语生产者被转移至话语阅读者、话语如何影响读者的思想行为。

Abstract

Course introductions of remedial classes contain information about courses, teachers, teaching methods and so on. Due to the expansion of commercial activities, advertising discourses gradually penetrate into course introductions of remedial classes. In such condition, it is found that these course introductions demonstrate the language features of advertising discourses. This thesis chooses some course introductions of Xueersi, a famous Chinese remedial class, as data. Adopting the theory of Critical Discourse Analysis and utilizing Halliday’s Functional Grammar, this thesis analyzes the language features in their related social contexts. It is aimed at digging out the underlying power and the ideology, and exploring how the power is shifted from discourse producers to discourse readers as well as how discourses affect readers’ thinking.
