An Analysis of the Subtitle Translation of Hotel Transylvania from the Perspective of Skopostheorie_英语论文

摘要

随着电影业的不断进步，越来越多的好电影，特别是进口外国电影给我们带来了更多的娱乐选择，在引进外国电影或将优秀的国产电影推向国际市场中，电影字幕翻译的重要性也日益凸显出来。

本文选取了美国电影《精灵旅社》，从目的论的角度对其中文译文进行分析，该理论也是翻译领域中的重要理论，备受学者关注。

本文采用定性研究方法，选取一定数量的原文和译文，在目的论指导下对这些译文进行分析，其中，作者着重分析了目的论四大原则及相应的翻译方法,希望能为未来的研究提供借鉴。

Abstract

With the continuous development of the film industry, more and more good movies, especially imported foreign films, have brought us more choices of entertainment. When foreign films are introduced to China or some excellent domestic films are exported abroad, the importance of subtitle translation is more and more obvious.

We choose the film Hotel Transylvania as a study case and analyze its translation from the perspective of Skopostheorie, an important theory in the translation field， which has attracted many scholars' attentions.

We adopt qualitative approach to analyze some examples of subtitle translation chosen from the film from the perspective of Skopostheorie. Then we focus on analyzing four rules of Skopostheorie and the corresponding translation approaches. We hope it can provide reference for the further research in the future.
