A Study of Exhibition Interpreting Strategies from the Perspective of Skopos Theory_英语论文

摘要

我国的会展业起步较晚，但发展速度很快，正逐步成为亚洲地区的会展中心。会展作为一项重要的商务活动，在中国的对外贸易中发挥着重要作用。会展口译的研究对于开展国际贸易活动有着重要意义。会展口译是为商务谈判，商务活动、会议、展销、文化、节庆等活动而服务，有其清晰的目的性。

本文将从功能目的论的角度，研究和探讨会展英语的口译策略。根据目的论的三大原则，目的原则，连贯性原则，忠实性原则，我们认为：在具体不同的口译实境中，需要采取不同的翻译策略：添加策略，省略策略，正确理解策略，以及目的论下的记忆模式和不同文化环境策略。在目的论指导下的会展口译策略，可以帮助译员更好地实现交流的目的。

Abstract

China convention and exhibition industry started late, but it is developing rapidly. As time goes by, China is gradually becoming the convention and exhibition center in Asia. As an important business activity, exhibitions play a vital role in China foreign trade. The study of exhibition interpretation is thus of great significance. Exhibition interpretation serves business negotiations, business activities, conferences, exhibitions, culture, festivals and other activities with clear purposes. 

From the perspective of skopos theory, this paper will study and discuss the interpreting strategies in conventions and exhibitions. According to the three principles of skopos theory: skopos, coherence and fidelity rule, we believe that the use of corresponding interpreting strategies of addition, omission, paraphrase in addition to strategies adopted in accordance with, cross-cultural environment and memory model can help interpreters better achieve communication purpose.
