摘要 

李欧·李奥尼是美国儿童文学作家、画家，他开创了一个绘本的新时代，其绘本以自己个性化的风格阐释他对生活的感悟，以简洁易懂的画面将之传递出来。他的儿童绘本《一寸虫》《小黑鱼》等曾经得过美国凯迪克奖。李奥尼以大气明快而又内蕴哲理的故事见长，被美誉为“20 世纪的伊索”。他的图画有抽象派的绘画风格，他的故事富含人生的哲理。

近年来，李欧·李奥尼的儿童绘本受到了中国读者的广泛欢迎。在中国，对其绘本的翻译，有两位译者得到了广泛认可。其中一位是彭毅，他是中国最早的图画书研究者之一，翻译了许多外国儿童读物。他翻译了《小黑鱼》。另一位是杨茂秀，他撰写和翻译了近100本书，并创立了毛毛虫儿童哲学基金会。他翻译了《一寸虫》。他们两位对于儿童绘本的翻译不仅保持了原文的趣味性和信息的完整性，而且考虑到了中国儿童的认知方式，因此受到儿童读者的广泛欢迎。本文在德国功能主义翻译理论的指导下，选用李欧·李奥尼的《小黑鱼》和《一寸虫》，以及广受欢迎的中文译本作为主要研究对象，从词语、句法、修辞和跨文化交际四个层面进行翻译策略的研究，发现对于李欧·李奥尼的绘本的翻译，译者应该坚持以归化翻译为主，异化翻译为辅的翻译策略，综合使用增减法、分译、合译，转换法等。
