摘要 

中华典籍术语是中华文化的精髓，典籍术语英译在中华文化对外传播过程中有着十分重要的意义。不同时代的背景对中华典籍术语英译有着不同的要求。随着文化强国和文化自信战略的提出，译者要更多地考虑中华典籍英译所面临的文化安全问题。文化安全对于中华典籍术语对外传播至关重要，能保证典籍术语在英译过程中的完整性、准确性。在文化安全视角下，介于典籍术语的复杂性和特殊性，应当以归化翻译和异化翻译为主要理论依据，并指出译者在典籍术语英译过程中要不断改进翻译方法，应紧随时代潮流，从而才能确保典籍术语在英译过程中的文化安全。
