摘要

《简·爱》和《红楼梦》塑造了简爱和林黛玉这两个著名的小说人物，是文学史上最著名的经典巨著。两个小说人物在生活经历和对爱情的追求等方面有着诸多的相似之处。就性格而言，两个人既有共同之处又有不同之处。除性格之外，两个人在人生态度以及爱情理念方面也存在着巨大的差异。造成这些差异的原因有很多，包括历史背景，宗教信仰以及中西方的文化差异等。

Abstract

Jane Eyre and A Dream of Red Mansions are considered as the most famous classics in the history of literature for shaping two famous heroines called Jane Eyre and Lin Daiyu. It is easy to find that,undoubtedly, there are many similarities between Lin Daiyu and Jane Eyre in the life experience, and pursuit of love. In terms of character, they have not only similarities but also differences. In addition to character, there are also distinctive differences in attitude towards life and concept of love. There are a lot of reasons accounting for these differences, including historical background, religious belief as well as individual personality and so on.
