摘要

托马斯·哈代的小说创作通常蕴含着深刻的基督伦理思想, 《德伯家的苔丝》作为哈代最家喻户晓的作品之一, 更被注入了丰富的宗教内涵。 基督教文化已成为人类文化的一种重要表述, 这种文化形态对西方文学产生了深远的影响. 

导致苔丝走向悲剧命运的必然因素有很多, 目前国内《德伯家的苔丝》分析更多的是聚焦在社会道德这一视角, 或者主要从作者哈代的宗教观来分析, 人们将更多的重点放在作者本身而不是作品内容上. 考虑到国内对基督教的认识程度并不深，因此本论文将从宗教这一因素来透彻分析。本论文将以点放面，从其中一个因素深刻研究宗教思想在当时是如何推动了苔丝悲剧的必然性发展。这样不仅能更好认识到苔丝为何必然走向悲剧，而且能帮助人们更好理解宗教对苔丝命运的影响。

本文共分为四章。本文第一章为引言。简要介绍《德伯家的苔丝》目前文献综述状况。本文第二章论述了《德伯家的苔丝》中苔丝悲剧的几个必然因素——社会经济因素、道德法律因素、性格因素。第三章讲述以上帝为中心的宗教以及上帝、宗教在西方文化中的重要性。第四章讲述《德伯家的苔丝》中苔丝的宗教观。

Abstract

Thomas Hardy' s novels often contain profound Christian ethics, and Tess of the D 'Urbervilles, as one of the most famous works of Hardy, has been filled with rich religious connotations. Christian culture has become an important expression of human culture, this cultural form of Western literature had a profound impact. 

There are many factors that lead to the fate of Tess to tragedy there are many, the current domestic "Deborah' s Tess" analysis is more focused on the social morality of this perspective, or mainly from the author of the religious concept of Hardy to analyze, people will be more The focus on the author itself rather than the content of the work. To take into account the degree of understanding of Christianity is not deep, so this paper will be a thorough analysis of this factor from the religion. 

This paper will focus on one of the factors from the point of study of religious thought at the time is how to promote the development of the tragedy of Tess. This chapter introduces Tess` s view of religion, subversion of social reality and religious traditions.
