Manifestation of Translator’s Subjectivity in Translations from the Perspective of Translation Aesthetics: A Case Study of “Ode to the West Wind” Translated by Zha Liangzheng_英语论文
摘要
译者作为翻译的主体,也是民族文化建构的重要参与者。在跨语言,跨文化交际中,译者的主体性作用理应受到应有的重视,然而翻译主题在中国文化多元系统中长期遭到了蒙蔽,出现了译者文化地位的边缘化现象。随着20世纪80年代翻译研究的“文化转向”,给我们带来了新的翻译研究视角,关于对翻译主体性的研究深受国内外学者的重视,翻译主体研究得到了应有的重视,并逐渐走向深入。翻译与美学联姻很久,中国传统翻译理论的基础就包括美学,翻译美学是一门揭示译学的美学渊源,以美学的视角来研究翻译,为当代翻译理论的研究带来新的理论依据。译者作为翻译的主题,以自身的审美意识为主体,对审美客体进行认识,重造和再现,体现了译者主体性的重要作用。
《西风颂》作为欧洲诗歌的艺术珍品,以其不衰的魅力,深入广大读者的心。查良铮作为翻译界的元老级人物之一,拥有巨大的文学翻译地位,他翻译的雪莱的《西风颂》的中文译本更为世人熟知。本文从译者主体性的定义与内涵入手,分析译者主体性在国内外研究现状,充分了解翻译美学的基本理论和国内外研究现状,并介绍查良铮及《西风颂》文学地位,综述关于《西风颂》各个译本研究现状,利用翻译美学理论对查良铮译本《西风颂》和其他译本《西风颂》进行比较。主要从韵律、选词和风格进行分析对比,从而剖析形成译者主体性差异具体因素。
最后,通过总结对于查良铮译本《西风颂》及其他译本对比研究来说明,翻译不是简单的文字变换,而是融入译者主观审美意象的艺术产物,需要译者作为主体操控,通过对影响译者主体性因素的剖析,得出译者的主体性具有创造性。

Abstract
As the subject of translation, the translator is an important participant in the national culture construction. In cross-language and cross-cultural communication, the function of translator’s subjectivity should be given due attention, but the translation theme in the Chinese culture of the medium and long-term system has been deceived, so the translator's cultural status has emerged the marginalization. With the emerge of "cultural turn" of translation studies in the 1980 of the 20th century, it brings us a new perspective of translation research, and domestic and foreign scholars attach importance to the research of translator’s subjectivity, which also deserved much attention and become more and more important. Translation Aesthetics have long been in connected for a long time, which the basis of Chinese Traditional translation theory includes aesthetics. Translation Aesthetics is an aesthetics origin revealing translation, to study translation from the perspective of aesthetics, which brings a new theoretical basis for the study of contemporary translation theory.
As the subject of translation, the translator recognizes, recreates and represents the aesthetic object from the perspective of aesthetics consciousness, which reflects the great importance of translators’ subjectivity. As the art Treasures of European poetry, "Ode to the West Wind" with its not fading charm, goes through the hearts of readers. Zha Liangzheng, as one of the elders of the translation profession, has a great literary translation status, and Shelly's "Ode to the West Wind" he translated is more well-known among the world. This paper begins with the definition and connotation of translators’ subjectivity, and analyzes the research actuality of translator's subjectivity in Chins and foreign countries. Also, in this paper will have a literary review of translations of “Ode to the West Wind” and make a comparison between Zha Liangzheng’s and other translators’ which mainly from the rhythm, selection and style to analyze the translator's subjective differences in the specific factors.
Finally, by summing up the comparative study of the Zha Liangzheng translation of "Ode to the West Wind" and other translations, this paper intends to illustrate that translation is not a simple text transformation, but the art of the translator's subjective aesthetic image, which the translator needs to be manipulated as the main character, through analyzing the factors influencing the translator's subjectivity, thus it come to a conclusion that translators subjectivity of translators has its own creativity.
