摘要 

经典的反乌托邦小说，乔治•奥威尔的《1984》获得了有名无实的成功。在小说中，作者有预见地揭示了统治集团为维护权利以实行的残酷手段，呈现出了一个可怕的极权主义社会。

小说以主人公温斯顿的第一视角入手，描述了极权世界中的普通人的悲惨生活，同时展现了当局对于民众的监视以及在语言、法律等方面的压制，描绘了民众所处的恐怖生活环境以及其如同行尸走肉般的生活，小说全方位的呈现了极权社会下人民受压抑，失去自由的状态。

同时在《1984》中，奥威尔借温斯顿的个性醒悟以及极权社会当局的反抗表述了他对当时社会人民的人文主义关怀。因此该论文从温斯顿在个人、情感以及家园情怀的感悟等角度入手，描述了人文主义关怀是如何在极权主义社会的阴影下萌发成长的。另外，论文结合小说中出现的温斯顿与极权主义当局的正面对抗等相关情节来表达人文主义关怀的巨大力量以及随之而来的人性的觉醒。温斯顿的言行举止，也映证了奥威尔的对当今人类命运的人文主义关怀，体现出其对于人文主义关怀的见解与启示。
