在全球化时代,中外合拍电影已经成为一个新的趋势。探究中美合拍动画片《功夫熊猫3》中故事背景、熊猫形象和电影价值观的杂糅现象,从中可以发现,该影片不仅展现了包括熊猫、功夫、吊脚楼、绸带舞等浅层的中国文化符号,也融合了手足相亲、守望相助等中国传统价值观。以《功夫熊猫3》为代表的中美合拍影片平衡了传统文化与现代文化、本土文化与世界文化的价值差异,从而使世界不同区域和文化背景的观众产生共鸣。
