摘要

本文以美国翻译理论家奈达的功能对等理论为依据，对林疑今所译的欧内斯特·米勒·海明威的作品《永别了，武器》进行研究，探索功能对等理论在小说翻译中的应用。《永别了，武器》作为一部世界名著，有多个中译版本，其中林疑今翻译的版本颇具代表性，较为经典。小说翻译属于文学翻译，是一种艺术化的翻译，译者需要对原文思想内容与艺术风格有深刻的理解。小说的翻译要求与强调读者感受的功能对等理论一致。因此，在小说翻译实践中，功能对等理论非常符合文学翻译的要求，实用性较高。本文从词意对等、句意对等、篇章特点对等这三个方面入手，引用具体的翻译实例，对原文和译文进行分析与对比，为类似文本的翻译提供翻译参考。
